After taking some time to gather myself I have come back refreshed and renewed. Over the last two months I have taken the time to repair relationships with my family, spend more time with my family, and really look at what I prioritize in my life. I went camping with my grandkids. We went to the same place I used to camp as a kid. Passing along these traditions are wonderful. My medication regimen has kept me stable. This has allowed me to take a good look at my life from a stable point of view. My husband took me away on a little vacation of just us to help me recalibrate myself. Go for walks and just enjoy each other again. So often we get caught up in the day to day that we lose sight of what really matters. Taking that breath of fresh air. Enjoying those silly moments with the grandkids. Taking that extra minute to write a letter to a friend instead of just texting them. All these little moments add up to big appreciations for life.
